The Wandering Kittens

The Wandering Kittens is an adventure game where you explore a series of subway cars from the perspective of a cat in search of its lost kittens. The bigger narrative of the game connects to the wandering stray kittens and animals in big cities and the help provided by animal rescues and shelters. There are over 500,000 unowned, free-roaming, outdoor cats across New York City, and many of them have to navigate dangerous locations like subway tunnels. We intend the experience to be a relaxing game where users can unwind from the busy rhythm of the city, while also raising awareness about the protection of stray animals.
